Michael is a geotechnical engineer with over 12 years’ experience in the mining industry. Michael gained a BSc degree in geology from Monash University, then gained geotechnical logging experience at Leinster where he worked for BMGS on the Perseverance Deeps project till the end of 2005. He then joined Dempers & Seymour and completed the Graduate Certificate in Mining Geomechanics from the West Australian School of Mines. His international consulting experience includes work on a wide range of projects from greenfields feasibility studies to providing operational advice to mines and mining companies. He is able to provide a wide range of services including logging and mapping, data collection training, underground and open pit analysis and design, 2D and 3D numerical modelling and operational support.
